Extension

The Department of Crop and Soil Sciences has a strong extension/outreach program. Faculty, specialists and staff serve a broad clientele including farmers, farm advisors, farm supply industries, Extension Field Staff, professional turf grass managers and homeowners.

The Extension Project has active educational efforts in several diverse areas including cropping systems, land use, waste management, turf management, soil fertility, soil management, and weed science.
